Gaming marathon to be held April 8

They've been called geeks, nerds and techies, but on Saturday, April 8, the computer-addicted masses have a chance to show off their skills and tricked-out boxes at Hagerstown Community College's Local Area Network Gaming Marathon.

Featuring a high-speed LAN and head-to-head competition, the marathon will be held at HCC's Valley Mall Center from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The fee for the LAN Gaming Marathon is $14. Participants can register at HCC's Valley Mall Center or the main campus. Registeration also may be done using a credit card by calling 301-790-2800, ext. 236.

For more information, contact event coordinator Jack Drooger at 301-790-2800, ext. 453, or send e-mail to droogerj@hagerstowncc.edu.
