SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Wednesday, March 22, cocktails at 6:30 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m., speaker at 7:45 p.m., Men's Club Building, German Street. Shepherd University President David Dunlop and Ed Herendeen, producing director of Contemporary American Theater Festival, will speak. Anyone in the community may attend. Basket bingo

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Sponsored by the South Hamilton Youth League, today, doors open at 10 a.m., meal at 11:30 a.m., bingo at 1 p.m., Greencastle Special Events Center, 407 S. Washington St. Tickets cost $25 and include 40 regular games, three specials and meal. Book sale

Hours are: Thursday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, 1 to 9 p.m.; and Monday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The public is welcome.
