Indians fall in state second round

ALTOONA, Pa. - Southern Fulton's postseason run ended Tuesday night in the second round of the PIAA Class A boys basketball state tournament as the Indians fell 77-53 to unbeaten Elk County Catholic.

Jesse Bosnik had 21 points to lead the Crusaders (30-0), who built a 23-9 first-quarter lead on the way to a 43-20 halftime advantage.

P.J. Hixon had 28 points, five rebounds and three assists to lead the Indians (23-5), who won their first-ever state playoff game Friday to tie the school record for single-season victories. Brad Divel had 11 points and Colin Watson added nine for Southern Fulton.
