Heritage Academy students nominated as All-American Scholars

Five students from Heritage Academy have been nominated for the All-American Scholar Program, sponsored by The United States Achievement Academy Scholarship Foundation.

Nominated were senior Meredith Johnson, daughter of Wayne and Sandi Johnson of Mercersburg, Pa.; juniors Molly Holtzman, daughter of Mark and Laura Holtzman of Clear Spring, and Jennifer King, daughter of Bill and Chris King of Hagerstown; sophomore Megan Mowen, daughter of Bob and Melba Mowen of Clear Spring; and freshman Danae Deal, daughter of Gerald and Teresa Deal of Smithsburg.

To be eligible for the All-American Scholar Program, a student must achieve a 3.3 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale, must be selected by a teacher, and must exhibit a well-balanced schedule of academics and extracurricular activities.
