WOLFSVILLE, Md. - The Wolfsville Ruritan Club is taking orders through Monday, March 13, for 12-inch cold cut subs. Cost is $4.50. To place an order, call Mary Wiles, 1-301-293-2535. Indicate name, phone number and number of subs you are ordering. Subs can be picked up Thursday, March 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Wolfsville Ruritan Park Grounds, Brandenburg Hollow Road. Take Interstate 70 to exit 42 to Md. 17 north. Go 8 miles to Wolfsville, turn right on Stottlemeyer Road, then left on Brandenburg Hollow Road to the park. Proceeds benefit community activities and park maintenance.

MYERSVILLE, Md. - Saturday, March 18, 7 to 10:30 a.m., Myersville fire hall. Menu includes potatoes, bacon, sausage, hominy, pudding, ponhaus, eggs, French toast, biscuits, sausage gravy and fruit. Cost is $6, adults; $5, ages older than 60; $3, ages 6 to 12; ages younger than 6 eat free. The old-fashioned country breakfast will be held the third Saturday of each month through April.
