W.Va. film festival seeks submissions

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va.

The American Conservation Film Festival is calling for submissions for its 2006 festival, to be held Thursday, Nov. 2, to Monday, Nov. 6, in Shepherdstown.

The festival is held each year to highlight outstanding films exploring the relationships between humans, culture, wildlife, and the environment. The deadline to submit work to the ACFF is Monday, May 1.

The first ACFF Student Showcase competition will be held this year. ACFF will accept student films from across the globe to compete in the student showcase. The showcase winner will be offered an internship at National Geographic Film and Television in Washington, D.C.
