Valley Assembly of God Christian Life Center, 17544 York Road, Hagerstown, the Rev. Robert Jones will speak at 10 a.m. this Sunday on the topic, Who Shall Command The Battle?

Sunday school is at 9 a.m. At 6 p.m., there will be a youth service.

Adult Bible study topic is Which Sheep is Black? Part 2.




Calvary United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., the message at the 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. communion services this Sunday is The Way of the Cross Leads Home.

Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m.




Lenten worship for in-town United Methodist churches will be at Calvary Wednesday at 7 p.m. with the Rev. John Yost speaking. Communion will be served.




Unity, Shepherdstown, W.Va., this Sunday at 11:30 a.m. Pastor Anne Murphy will speak on Law of Mind Action.

The congregation meets at the Train Station at German and High streets.




Zion United Church of Christ, the Rev. Robert Royal will speak at 11 a.m. this Sunday on the topic, Forging a Real World Faith.

The Rev. Don Stevenson will be guest speaker at the Wednesday Lenten activity which begins at 6 p.m. with a potluck dinner. The topic at the 6:45 p.m. service is Introduction to Forgiveness.




Calvary Grace Brethren Church, Pastor Doug Courter will speak on the topic, I Love It When A Plan Comes Together, at 10:30 a.m. this Sunday.

Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m. John Sytch will be featured at the 6 p.m. service.

Bible study is Tuesday at 10 a.m. and youth activities are Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.




Pikeside United Methodist Church, Paynes Ford Road and U.S. 11, Martinsburg, W.Va., the Rev. Thomas Young Jr. will bring the message, A Dreadful Declaration, at the 8:30 and 10:35 a.m. services this Sunday.

Following the 10:35 a.m. service, there will be an Irish Luncheon, a fundraiser for the Youth Fellowship.

Sunday School for all ages is at 9:15 a.m. Youth fellowship is at 6 p.m. and evening praise is at 6:15 p.m.

Bible studies are Wednesday at 10 a.m. and Thursday at 7 p.m.




Mount Vernon Reformed UCC, Keedysville, Pastor Delancey Catlett will speak on the topic, The Faith of Abraham, at the 10:40 a.m. service this Sunday.




Christ Reformed United Church of Christ, Sharpsburg, Pastor Delancey Catlett will speak on the topic, The Faith of Abraham, at the 9 a.m. service this Sunday. Officers will be installed.

Children's Sunday school begins at 10 a.m.




Church of the Holy Trinity, Halfway, the Rev. Tim Leighton will lead the 10:45 a.m. service this Sunday with a sermon on the topic, Day of Reckoning.

Children's church meets during the service. Fellowship and light refreshments follow the service.

Tri-State Fellowship, 13153 Cearfoss Pike, Hagerstown, Pastor Randy Buchman will be speaking at the 9:30 a.m. service this Sunday on the topic, A Living Hope and Imperishable Inheritance.

Wednesday night services begin at 7.

Emmanuel United Methodist Church, the Rev. Ken Hawes will speak on the topic, Questions of Faith: Judging Others, at the 9:30 a.m. communion service this Sunday.

Emmanuel Baptist Temple, 16221 National Pike, Hagerstown, Pastor Larry Aikens will be speaking at 8:30 and 11 a.m. services Sunday. The topic will be A Abiding In Christ.

Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m.




Youth Pastor Mark Chapman will speak at the 6 p.m. evening service this Sunday, on There They Crucified Him. The Lord's Supper will be observed.

Wednesday Bible study and children's programs are at 7:30 p.m. and teen group and master clubs meet at 7 p.m.




St. John's Episcopal Church, Hagerstown, the Rev. Scott Bellows will preach at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services this Sunday. The children and youth choirs will offer a special musical production at the 10:15 communion service.




Christian education is at 9 a.m. The adult forum is also at 9 a.m. with Bill Lucht speaking on The Temptation of Material Goods.
