'While the Lights Were Out'

Home Show 2006

The Home Builders Association of Washington County will present its annual Home Show. Event features exhibitors, seminars, prize giveaways and a kids zone with family activities. Trains for Everyone

Bread tasting

The Peter Burr Bread Bakers' Guild will bake bread. Visitors will have a chance to taste the breads and vote on new bread recipes that will be featured for the coming year. The process of artisan bread baking also will be discussed. Cheese and various spreads will be available as well as wine and other beverages. Bread will not be available for sale at this event. Benefit concert

The country music bands Hot Apple Pie and Possum Holler will perform at the Home Show Benefit Concert and Auction, with proceeds going to Safe Place Child Advocacy Center, Washington County's coordinated system for handling child abuse.
