League of WomenVoters of Washington County

Wednesday, March 8, 7 p.m., Village at Robinwood, Hagers-town, clock tower entrance. Members will discuss and form a consensus position on the election process in Maryland. Saturday, March 11, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Hager House Museum, Hagerstown City Park, Hagerstown. There will be a discussion of civilians transforming into soldiers who enlisted from the local area and were from Germany or of German descent. There will be a demonstration of safe handling of muskets and proper methods of marching and drilling. There also will be period music and a display of items the soldier carried with him.
