BBB names president

BALTIMORE

Angie Barnett, vice president of membership for the Maryland Chamber of Commerce, has been named president and CEO of the Better Business Bureau of Greater Maryland, effective Monday.

She succeeds Nicholas G. Greaves, who will retire from the BBB at the end of March after 10 years as CEO.

Barnett since 2001 served as the Maryland Chamber vice president responsible for all aspects of membership.

A graduate of Arkansas State University, Barnett served on the faculty of that university's sociology department.

The Better Business Bureau is a private nonprofit organization with the stated mission of promoting and fostering the highest ethical relationship between business and the public.
