Mardi Gras music

Benefit concert by songwriters and musicians from the mid-Atlantic region performing ballads, folk songs and Mardi Gras music. 7 to 10 p.m. today. Christ Reformed United Church of Christ, 12 S. Storytelling

Butterflies

Maple Sugar Festival

There will be a sap-to-syrup demonstration, breakfast and lunch, and children's activities. The schedule includes syrup demonstration at Fairview Outdoor School's sugar bush; breakfast and lunch at Plumb Grove; a treasure hunt and maple-themed children's crafts. Dog show

American Kennel Club Sanctioned B Conformation All Breed Match hosted by the Mason & Dixon Kennel Club. Saturday, registration at 10 a.m.; judging starts at 11:30 a.m. Washington County Agricultural Education Center, 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, south of Hagerstown. $7 entry fee per dog for the match, free for spectators.

Miss Berkeley County/Miss North Eastern pageant

Two contestants will go on to compete for the titles of Miss West Virginia and Miss North Eastern. 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The Apollo Civic Theatre, 128 E. Martin St., Martinsburg, W.Va. Tickets cost $10 and will be sold at the door.

Piedmont blues concert

Toy, train and doll show

The Cumberland Valley Model Railroad Club, and Sandy & Bill's Toybox will host the seventh annual toy, train and doll show. Breakfast and lunch will be available.
