Washington bobbleheads available at Suns game

February 22, 2006

The Hagerstown Suns and the Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau will present another promotional "first" in professional baseball.

George Washington bobbleheads will be given to the first 1,000 fans who attend the Saturday, July 1, game at Municipal Stadium.

Washington County was named after George Washington in 1776, becoming the first of 31 so-named counties in the United States.

The Hagerstown Suns, the 2005 South Atlantic League North Division champions, are an affiliate of the New York Mets and are owned by Los Angeles-based Mandalay Baseball Properties.

Tickets are available by calling 301-791-6266.
