Theft at ATM occursafter truck is stolen



An unidentified person or people stole a truck from Longmeadow Exxon and with it, cut into a Long Meadow Sovereign Bank ATM cash machine earlier this week, Hagerstown Police Department Sgt. Tim Wolford said Saturday.

No further information was available about the incident, which Wolford said had been referred to the department's detective unit.




Two arrested after Frederick drug search



FREDERICK, Md. - Officers from the Frederick Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit arrested two people on drug charges Friday night after using a search warrant to search their apartment at 1204 Aynsley Court, according to a police department press release.

Terry Lee Sigler, 28, and Dwayne Anthony Bowens, 26, both residents of the apartment, were charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to the release.

Officers allegedly recovered suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia during the search, according to the release.
