The Crists



Arley and Irene Crist of Williamsport celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Friday, Sept. 30, 2005 at a surprise dinner party at the Lighthouse Restaurant in Chambersburg, Pa. The event was hosted by their four children, Marilyn, Dianna, Bradley and Wesley, along with their spouses and the Crists' grandchildren. Many family members and friends attended the celebration.

The Crists were married Sept. 30, 1955, at Zion Lutheran Church in Williamsport by Pastor Huddle.




The Netzes



John H. and Olive M. Netz celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005.

The Netzes were married Sept. 11, 1955, by the Rev. Ryder.

Mrs. Netz is the daughter of the late Andrew M. and Blanche I. Byers. She is a homemaker and works for J&J Excavating.

Mr. Netz is the son of the late John R. Netz and Catherine E. Bailey. He is owner of J&J Excavating.

They have five children, two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.




The Ludwigs



Fred and Kathy Ludwig recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005, at Wilson Ruritan Club. Pastor George Snyder officiated the renewing of the Ludwigs' vows at the surprise party hosted by their son, Jeff Davis and his wife, Melissa. Approximately 50 family members and friends attended the event.

The Ludwigs were married Oct. 31, 1980, in Washington County. They are members of New Beginnings Christian Fellowship Church.

Mrs. Ludwig is the daughter of the late William and Kathleen Davis. She is a 1969 graduate of South Hagerstown High School. She is employed with Hadley Farms of Smithsburg.

Mr. Ludwig is the son of the late Frederic Sr. and Laura Ludwig. He is a 1965 graduate of North Hagers-town High School. He is employed with Hub City Express.

The Ludwigs have two grandsons.




The Taylors



Ronald Wayne and Nancie "Jan" Taylor recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a dinner with friends and family, including son William and his wife Marion, at Always Ron's Restaurant.

The Taylors were married Oct. 31, 1955, by Air Force Chaplain John McCutchin at Walker Air Force Base in Roswell, N.M.

Mr. Taylor is a retired Air Force Reserve colonel and retired director of audit for CSX Corp.
