St. John's Episcopal Church, Hagerstown, the Rev. Richard Landis will preach at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services this Sunday. The children and youth choirs will present music at the later service.

Christian education is at 9 a.m. The adult forum on Breaking the Yoke of Oppression is also at 9 a.m. with Doree Brinson.




St. Mark's Lutheran Church, the Rev. Thomas Perry will be preaching this Sunday at the 8 a.m. chapel and 10:30 a.m. services on the topic, Thumbs Up From God.

Sunday school for all ages begins at 9:15 a.m.




St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, Pastor Mark Mooney will preach at the 9:30 a.m. service of Christian Healing this Sunday on the topic, If You Are Willing. Mooney and E-man the puppet will be featured. Eagle Scout Nicholas Connelly will also participate in the service.

Bible studies are Wednesday at 10 a.m. and Thursday at 7 p.m.

Aikens will speak at the 6 p.m. evening service this Sunday, resuming the series on Rearing Children in 2006. The topic is The Necessity of a Servant's Heart.

Wednesday Bible study and children's programs are at 7:30 p.m. and teen group and master clubs meet at 7 p.m.




Mount Zion Lutheran Church, Md. 67 and Locust Grove Road, Rohrersville, the Rev. Blaine Feightner will be preaching on the topic, Yes, Dear, at the 8:45 a.m. service this Sunday.
