HCC schedules management courses

The Hagerstown Community College Center for Continuing Education offers American Management Association certificate programs in management, supervision and human resources management.

Upcoming classes are:

  • First Line Supervision - March 23 and 30. This workshop is designed to provide the working professional with the knowledge and skills necessary to be a successful supervisor in today's business environment.

  • Delegating for Business Success - April 4. Empower yourself and the organization you work for with delegation skills for 21st-century success.

  • Personal Strategies for Managing Stress - April 20. This full-day seminar will introduce participants to strategies to better manage stress in the workplace, home and everywhere else.

  • Coaching for Top Performance - May 4. This course provides a combination of training, communicating and motivating skills for managers to get the best performance out of each employee.

  • Fair, Square and Legal Documentation - May 18. Participants will learn to identify potential violations, investigate harassment complaints, write safe job advertisements and more.

Students may take individual courses to update skills or use the upcoming courses as a starting point for one of three management programs.
