The Boonsboro and Manor Church senior citizens clubs held their Christmas tea Wednesday, Jan. 4. This program was delayed because of snow on the originally scheduled date, Dec. 16, 2005.

The clubs joined in supplying soup, sandwiches, cookies and other delicious dainties. Mildred Shank and Pat Moser made and served delectable punch. Many beautiful and tasty cookies were provided by the Boonsboro club.

Naomi Thomas pleased the group with a jolly song "Ring Them Bells," while those with bells rang them. Katherine Burtner entertained the group with a fun reading of "The Day After Christmas."

Highlights of the day included delightful music by the Sentimental Sounds, Jack and Donna Haines. Door prizes were awarded to members and guests. The Christmas theme was carried out with lovely centerpieces and favors. Each member and guest received a wonderful handmade Christmas card made by the president.
