Highland View Seventh-day Adventist Church, glass harpist Jamey Turner will be appearing today at 11 a.m. His concert of the music of Mozart and many other great composers has been performed at the Kennedy Center, the Washington National Cathedral, Disney World, "The Tonight Show" and "Live from Lincoln Center."

Berkeley Springs (W.Va.) Presbyterian Church, 101 Mercer St., The Healing Waters Ensemble, the community choir and the Berkeley Springs Presbyterian Church Sacred Arts program will present Musical Prayers for Peace this Sunday at 3 p.m.

Rescheduled because of snow in December, the program of instrumental and choral selections will be interspersed with sacred prayers from many religious traditions, as well as stories, poems and peace invocations by Micah, Jesus, Martin Luther King, Jr., and other prophets of peace.

This interfaith concert offers the whole community the opportunity to gather together, contemplate and celebrate messages of peace from a number of sacred traditions.
