St. John's Episcopal Church, Hagerstown, the Rev. Scott Bellows will preach at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion/litany of healing services this Sunday. The parish choir and Colin Lodter, organist, will present music at the later service.

Christian education is at 9 a.m. The adult forum on the Five Traditions of the Spiritual Life is also at 9 a.m.




St. Mark's Lutheran Church, the Rev. David Kaplan will be preaching this Sunday at the 8 a.m. chapel and 10:30 a.m. services on the topic, Angry About an Epiphany.

Sunday school for all ages begins at 9:15 a.m.




Asbury United Methodist Church, Shepherdstown, W.Va., the Rev. Rudolph Bropleh will speak on the topic, The Formation of Fellowship, at the 11 a.m. service this Sunday.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, Pastor Mark Mooney will preach at the 9:30 a.m. service this Sunday on the topic, If You Are Willing. Mooney and E-man the puppet will be featured. Eagle Scout Nicholas Connelly will also participate in the Boy Scout Sunday service.

Calvary Grace Brethren Church, Pastor Doug Courter will speak on Sharing Your Faith - It's Really Not That Hard, Part 4, at 10:30 a.m. this Sunday.

At 10:35 a.m., Steve Brown, cub pack master, will speak on The Three Points of God's Law. Members of the pack will participate in the service.

Sunday School for all ages is at 9:15 a.m. A Valentine's covered dish supper is at 5:30 p.m. followed by an orchestra concert at 7.

Bible studies are Tuesday and Wednesday at 10 a.m.

The Third Thursday Club for children from kindergarten through the third grade will begin at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 16.




Church of the Holy Trinity, Halfway, the Rev. Tim Leighton will lead the 10:45 a.m. service this Sunday with a sermon on the topic, The Race of a Lifetime. Boy Scouts will be participating in the service.

Children's church meets during the service. Fellowship and light refreshments follow the service.

Wednesday night services begin at 7.
