Movies opening this week

"Final Destination 3" (R) - Six years after the original "Final Destination," the latest installment in the series centers around a high school senior who has a premonition of a fatal roller coaster accident involving herself and all her friends. When the premonition proves true, survivors must deal with the repercussions of "cheating death." Starring Ryan Merriman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Texas Battle, Gina Holden and Dustin Milligan.

"Firewall" (PG-13) - Jack Stanfield is a bank security expert who designed an infallible theft-proof financial computer system. But there's a vulnerability in the system he didn't consider - himself. Harrison Ford, Paul Bettany, Jimmy Bennett, Virginia Madsen and Robert Patrick.

"The Pink Panther" (PG) - A world-famous coach has been murdered and his priceless, legendary ring has been stolen - a ring set with the diamond known as the "Pink Panther." The French government needs a master detective to solve the crime and recover the gem. Starring Steve Martin, William Abadie, Jean Reno, Beyonc Knowles and Kevin Kline.

Scholarship opportunity

Real estate company offers grant

Long & Foster Real Estate Inc. is accepting applications for $1,000-scholarships for well-rounded graduating high school seniors entering an accredited four-year college or university.
