Private 1st Class Ashley Jean Gray, daughter of Ernie and Donna Gray of Rohrersville, enlisted in the U.S. Army in July and recently completed the basic training portion of a 19-week intensive military police training course. She trained with Foxtrot Co., 795th Military Police Battalion at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.
Ashley is a 2001 graduate of Boonsboro High School and a 2004 graduate of Hagerstown Community College.
