Movies opening this week

"When a Stranger Calls" (PG-13) - While baby-sitting, a high school student is terrorized by a stranger who calls her and asks, "Have you checked on the children lately?" Starring Camilla Belle, Katie Cassidy, Brian Geraghty and Tessa Thompson.

"Something New" (PG-13) - Kenya, a professional African-American woman, hears that 42.4 percent of African-Americans have never been married. Kenya is determined to find a man she can marry. However, she is shocked when she discovers that she is falling in love with a white landscaper. Starring Sanaa Lathan, Simon Baker, Blair Underwood, Alfre Woodard and Mike Epps.

'The Firebird'

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Chambersburg Ballet Theatre will perform a black-light action ballet, "The Firebird," with music by Igor Stravinsky. Nearly 1,000 watts of black lights will be used. 4 and 7:30 p.m. A talk will be held 30 minutes before each show. The Capitol Theatre, 159 S.
