January 28, 2006

An investigation into a Maugansville man's alleged drug dealing prompted the Washington County Narcotics Task Force on Thursday to execute a search warrant at the man's home, where they allegedly found scales, baggies and marijuana, according to a task force written release.

After agents searched his home, Michael Wayne Lorshbaugh Sr., 54, of 17921 Edy Lane, was charged with common nuisance, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia, the release states.

Task force agents executed the search-and-seizure warrant Thursday as a result of an investigation into information Lorshbaugh allegedly dealt drugs, the release states.

"Numerous baggies containing marijuana, a hand scale used for measuring amounts of marijuana, and other items related to marijuana paraphernalia" allegedly were found at his home, the release states.
