The St. Maria Goretti High School Gaels recently visited the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County. Under the direction of Head Coach Cokey Robertson, the Gaels led more than 45 club members in drills emphasizing the fundamentals of basketball.




The Huyetts 4-H Club elected the following officers for 2006:

Brenna House, president; Garrett Hamby, vice president; Emily Myers, secretary; Morgan Smith, vice secretary; Hannah House, treasurer; Trenten Smith, vice treasurer; Rachel House, corresponding secretary; Ben Harbaugh, parliamentarian; Sam Myers, assistant parliamentarian; Katrina Smith, snack coordinator; Brandon Smith, flag coordinator; Matthew Harbaugh, demonstration coordinator; Gavin Myers, photographer; Amy Ridenour and Rebekah Shirk, greeters; Matthew Toth and Hunter Paylor, comedians; and Kaitlyn Shirk, recreation coordinator.

The club meets the first Monday of each month at St. Paul's Church near Clear Spring. If you are interested in joining 4-H, call 301-791-1404 to find a club in your area.
