"Why is there a picture of Steelers fans at the Colonial Restaurant on the front page of The Daily Mail? I have a major problem with that. I don't care what team they're rooting for, that is ridiculous. 'Go, Steelers, go' is a headline in Hagerstown? That should be on the sports page, not the front page. That is absolutely appalling."

"Monday was Martin Luther King's birthday. It's a federal, state and municipal holiday. I want to know why they were putting tickets on parked cars in downtown Hagerstown."

"I have a comment for the person who thinks Clear Spring needs a strip mall. I've lived in Clear Spring for 50 years, and I have a better idea. Why don't you move where there is a strip mall?"

"I've been reading the newspaper for the last couple of days and watching the local news, and I work at Maryland Correctional Institution. I'd like to know what institution they're talking about when they talk about a lockdown. We've had inmates out for courtyard and rec hall activities, and this jail hasn't been shut down."

"I want to make a comment about ladies who chew gum in public, smacking, cracking and popping it. It is annoying and rude. On Monday night, I had to listen to a lady do this for the entire time I was exercising. Chew gum with your mouth closed."

"I'm the person who called in about speeders on Interstate 70 east. Again this morning, eight cars passed me as I was going 65 mph. Five of the eight cars had Pennsylvania drivers. What can I say? Do they speed or don't they?"
