HCC AlumniAssociation

Vendors are being sought for the HCC Alumni Association's 12th annual Flower & Garden Show on Saturday, March 18, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Athletic, Recreation, and Community Center (ARCC).

"The Gift of the Garden" is the theme for this year's show.

Items and businesses typically featured include nurseries, lawn and garden equipment, pottery and statuary, pools, landscaping, tree services, stone products, herbs and violets, outdoor furniture, florists, wild bird products, home dcor and natural gourmet gifts from the garden.

MillenniumFinancial Group

FREDERICK, Md. - The Millennium Financial Group mortgage company held its Free Day At The Movies on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Holiday Cinema.

More than 80 clients with children of all ages turned out for a "G"-rated film, made holiday crafts, and met with Santa.


The local lender, owned by William Poffenbarger Jr., hosts several client appreciation events throughout the year.

First National Bank of Greencastle

QUINCY, Pa. - The First National Bank of Greencastle recently held its annual Quincy Village Retirement Community Christmas Mixer in the village's Hess Room.

Village residents decorated the room in a Very Beary Christmas theme with dozens of teddy bears and Christmas decorations. The Quincy dietary staff created an offering of appetizers and holiday treats. More than 175 residents attended the mixer. All guests received poinsettias from the bank.

Real Estate Teams

Roland Castle and Jim Bass, co-owners of Real Estate Teams LLC, presented Larry Jayne of the Daily Bread Food Bank the food collected by the agents during their Open Houses for Humanity Food Drives.

In total, more than 150 pounds of food were collected and split between Daily Bread Food Bank and Food Resources Inc.

Coldwell BankerKelley & Associates

MIDDLETOWN, Md. - Coldwell Banker Kelley & Associates of Middletown held its fourth annual Holiday Celebration and Auction for Charity at the Ostertag Farm in Myersville, Md., on Dec. 20.

The firm's agents, affiliates, friends and neighbors helped collect more than $5,500, which was used to provide holiday food, clothing and gifts for six area families, according to a prepared release.
