Fidelity Bank



The following position changes have been made at Fidelity Bank:

Dawn R. Rice was appointed vice president and operations officer.

Rice, of Hagerstown, has worked for the bank for 11 years. She attended Hagerstown Business College.

Managing the Dual Highway office is Nancy H. Eichelberger, assistant vice president.

Eichelberger, of Hagerstown, has been an associate of the bank for 18 years. She will graduate from the Maryland Bankers School in 2006.

Lee Ann Barnhart was promoted to branch manager at The Centre, in the Hagers-stown Wal-Mart.

Barnhart, of Hagerstown, has been employed by the bank for eight years.

Teresa J. Beck was appointed branch manager of the West Washington Street office.

Back, of Hagerstown, has worked in financial services for 29 years. She is a graduate of Hagerstown Community College.

Mark A. Karcher has relocated to the Virginia Avenue office as assistant vice president, branch manager.

Karcher, of Halfway, has 20 years in financial services and 16 years with the bank.

Lori Houser has transferred to the Dual Highway office as assistant branch manager.

Houser, of Greencastle, Pa., has worked for the bank since 1988.

Ella Pollinger was appointed assistant branch manager at the West Washington Street office. A five-year employee of the bank, she lives in Falling Waters, W.Va.

Johnnie L. Hickman was appointed assistant branch manager at the Sharpsburg Pike branch.

Hickman, of Williamsport, has worked in financial services for nine years.

Karen Michael has been named assistant branch manager at the Pennsylvania Avenue branch.

Michael, of Leitersburg, is a six-year employee.

Shannon R. Eikelberger has been appointed assistant branch manager at the Virginia Avenue office.

Eikelberger, of Hagerstown, has been an employee of the bank for 10 years.

Michelle L. Ernde was appointed customer service representative at The Centre office.

Ernde has worked in financial services for seven years.

Sara L. Ridenour has been appointed customer service representative at the Virginia Avenue office.

Ridenour, of near St. Thomas, Pa., is a graduate of Frostburg State University. She has been employed in financial services for eight years and with the bank for five.

Heather Wolfkill, of Hagerstown, has been appointed customer service representative at the Dual Highway office.

Sarah E. Miller has been appointed customer service representative at the Pennsylvania Avenue office.

Miller, of Hagerstown, has been an employee for six years.

FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Adele Kirby has been hired as a staff accountant by the certified public accounting firm of Ocker & Associates, P.C.

Kirby, of Shippensburg, Pa., has 10 years of experience in the areas of payroll compliance and accounting, including nonprofit accounting.

The Woods Resort



HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Susan Sullivan was named Employee of the Year at The Woods Resort during the annual employee recognition meeting Dec. 16.

Sullivan, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., was recognized for her service to The Woods Resort and Sleepy Creek Spa as a housekeeper.

She has worked from the resort since August 2003.

Joy Cain was named Employee of the Year for Potomac Valley Properties Inc.

Cain, of Hedgesville, has been employed by P.V.P. since August 1987 and works as a bookkeeping assistant.

Other staff members were recognized as Employees of the Month for 2005: Lorie Poole, Paul Parks, Marlaina Murphy, Cari Hilley, Lisa Lombardi, Terry Lynch, Dustin Fouch and Robbie Myers, all of Hedgesville; Brian Golden of Berkeley Springs; Kathy Hagar of Gerrardstown, W.Va.; and Bruce Loy of Williamsport.

Employees receiving recognition for years of service were:

Five years - John Cunningham, Joe Lundquist and Tim Clark, all of Hedgesville; and Stan McCann of Martinsburg, W.Va.

Ten years - Susan Squire, Roger Paton, Patty Lusk and Robert Uccellini, all of Hedgesville.

Fifteen years - Gene Stevens of Hedgesville.

Twenty years - Darla Parill of Hedgesville, Ruth Stevens of Martinsburg and Debbie Schultz of Berkeley Springs.

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Peggy Hays was recognized as Agent of the Month for November in the Greencastle office of Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA.

The award is given based on the number of listings taken, sales made and attendance at Realtor functions and continuing education classes completed.

Hays also was recognized as November's leader in service, an award based on an agent's use of companies affiliated with Jack Gaughen ERA. Hays, of the State Line, Pa.-area, is licensed in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Toby Fries, Robin Wakefield and Johnny Greathead were recognized for their sales performance.

Fries, of Lemasters, Pa., and Wakefield, of McConnellsburg, Pa., each were recognized for having a closed sales volume of more than $3 million since January 2005. Greathead, of McConnellsburg, was recognized for having a closed sales volume of more than $2 million since January 2005.

FREDERICK, Md. - Financial adviser Kurt Stein received high ratings from his clients in Ameriprise Financial Services Inc.'s annual client satisfaction survey.

Stein is one of the top 27 percent of advisers whose clients rated them highly in areas including overall satisfaction and financial knowledge, according to a prepared release.
