Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Keith P. Holton, son of Gary Holton of Martinsburg, W.Va., graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

Holton is a 2003 graduate of Martinsburg High School.




Air Force Airman Garion E. Reddick, son of Eric Reddick of Conyers, Ga., and Pamela Stoner of Hagerstown, graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

Reddick is a 2004 graduate of Rockdale County High School, Conyers.




Marine Corps Pvt. Shannon B. King, a 2004 graduate of Middletown (Md.) High School, recently completed 12 weeks of basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C., designed to challenge new Marine recruits physically and mentally.




Marine Corps Pvt. Calvin L. Hartley, son of Tina D. and Douglas W. Hartley of Charles Town, W.Va., recently completed 12 weeks of basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C., designed to challenge new Marine recruits physically and mentally.

Navy Seaman Recruit Kenneth G. Kirby, a 2004 graduate of Brunswick (Md.) High School, and his shipmates concluded Annual Exercise (ANNUALEX) 2005, while assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk, forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan.

ANNUALEX 2005 is a joint exercise between the U.S. Navy and the Japan Maritime Self-defense Force (JMSDF). Two U.S. submarines, 10 U.S. Navy ships and 49 JMSDF ships participated in a series of wartime exercises to observe and improve mission interoperability.

Kirby joined the Navy in June 2004.




Navy Seaman Recruit Daniel W. Anderson, a 2004 graduate of Urbana High School in Ijamsville, Md., recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.




Navy Seaman Recruit Christopher W. Krause, son of Lee Ann Barnhart of Needmore, Pa., recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

Krause is a 2005 graduate of Southern Fulton High School in Warfordsburg, Pa.




Army Pvt. Anthony M. Pensabene, son of Luanne and Michael Pensabene of Martinsburg, W.Va., graduated from basic combat military training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.
