CLEAR SPRING - Twenty members of the Clear Spring High School chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America visited Mount St. Mary's University and Volvo Powertrain on Nov. 15 to celebrate American Enterprise Day.
During the morning activity, students visited Mount St. Mary's University. Josh Ditsky, the university's director of recruitment, hosted the visit and, along with a student guide, took students on a walking tour of the campus.
Students viewed several buildings including the library, cafeteria and a dormitory, and heard a presentation on the university's business programs.
FBLA members then went to Volvo Powertrain in Hagerstown, formerly known as Mack Trucks.
Arnold Gozora, human resource representative with Mack Trucks, met with students following the tour and discussed job opportunities, the hiring process and the criteria prospective employees have to meet.
