W.Va. woman pleads guilty to cocaine distribution charge

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - A Charles Town, W.Va., woman entered a guilty plea Wednesday in U.S. District Court before Magistrate David J. Joel on one count of distribution of cocaine, according to U.S. Attorney Thomas E. Johnston.

Carol Price, 41, of 603 Eagle Ave., is free on bond pending sentencing. She faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and/or a $1 million fine.

Investigating the March 19 incident were officers from the Charles Town Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
