The Washington County Sheriff's Department is seeking the public's help in finding three registered sex offenders who allegedly have failed to update their change of addresses, according to a written release from Lt. Art Overcash.

The Hagerstown men allegedly no longer live at the addresses they provided to the Maryland Sex Offender Registry Unit and are listed through the state as absconders, Overcash wrote.

Gary Lee Fisher, 42, whose last known address was 936 Lanvale St. in Hagerstown, is wanted through an arrest warrant for allegedly failing to notify the unit of his address change. He is registered as a sexually violent offender.

He was convicted in May 1998 in Jefferson County, W.Va., of third-degree sexual assault. His victim was 15 years old, Overcash said.

Fisher is a white man with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 155 pounds, according to the release. He might be in the company of Barbara J. Allen, who was last known to be living out of her vehicle, Overcash wrote.

Michael Dynal Hackey Sr., 40, whose last known address was 418 N. Locust St. in Hagerstown, is wanted through an arrest warrant on the same charge, Overcash wrote.

Hackey is a registered child sex offender, whose victim was a 5-year-old, Overcash said. Hackey was convicted in Washington County in 1997 of third-degree sex offense, he said.

Hackey is a black man with black hair and brown eyes. Hackey is 6 feet tall and weighs about 325 pounds, according to the release.

Charles Lee Nicol, 42, also is a registered child sex offender who allegedly is in violation of registry laws. Overcash wrote that Nicol is a former Dagmar Hotel resident, but his whereabouts now are unknown.

Nicol is a white man with brown hair and blue eyes. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 215 pounds, according to the release. Nicol was convicted in Anne Arundel County, Md., in 2003 of child abuse. His victim was a 13-year-old.

Overcash asks anyone with information on the whereabouts of these men to call the department at 240-313-2170 or the Sheriff's Department's warrant squad at 301-573-3196.
