November 27, 2005

The First National Bank of Greencastle celebrated the opening of its new Eastern Boulevard office with a ribbon-cutting and flag-raising ceremony and reception on Monday, Nov. 14.

The 1101 Professional Court location is the bank's 10th office.

"We are very pleased to be expanding our presence in the Hagerstown community. With our other Hagerstown location, at 18233 Maugans Ave., we hope to reach out to more of those people in Washington County who are looking for an independent bank dedicated to customer service," Jeff Shank, president and CEO, said.

"Since we were established in 1864, a committed banking relationship with our customers has always been a top priority."

The Dahbura family of Hagerstown donated the U.S. flag used in the flag-raising ceremony. Boy Scout Troop 10, chartered by Trinity Lutheran Church, performed the ceremony.

Tower Bancorp Inc., parent company of The First National Bank of Greencastle, has assets of $347 million.
