Monday, Nov. 21, 1 p.m., Local 171 Union Hall, 18131 Maugans Ave., Hagerstown. All Local 171, UAW retirees and new retirees from Local 842 are welcome. Attorney D. Bruce Poole will speak. Bring canned goods for the food bank.

Fundraiser for MBL Angels Cheer and Dance, Greencastle, Pa.

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - MBL Angels Cheer and Dance of Greencastle are collecting used cell phones; laptop computers and old ink cartridges. The Phoneraiser Program will give the group a monetary donation for each piece collected and then will recycle the items to developing nations or use the components. Proceeds will help offset expenses for the group to attend the Williamsburg, Va., Colonial Cheer Challenge.

Donations may be dropped at Greencastle Chamber of Commerce, 217 E. Baltimore St.; or Otterbein United Brethren Church, 146 Leitersburg St. Call Cindy Leckron, head coach, 1-717-597-4639.

Blue Ridge Sportsmen's Holiday Extravaganza

BLUE RIDGE SUMMIT, Pa. - Saturday, Nov. 26, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Blue Ridge Sportsmen's Club. The event will feature home party consultants from Mary Kay, Longaberger, Pampered Chef, Silpada Jewelry, Boyds Bears, the Body Shop, Home Interiors, Avon, Southern Living, Creative Memories and Tastefully Simple.
