Country breakfast

MYERSVILLE, Md. - Saturday, Nov. 19, 7 to 11 a.m., Myersville Volunteer Fire Co. The all-you-can-eat breakfast includes potatoes, bacon, sausage, hominy, pudding, ponhaus, eggs, French toast, biscuits, sausage gravy and fruit. Cost is $6, adults; $5, ages 60 and older; $3, ages 6 to 12; and ages 5 and younger eat free. Breakfasts are held the third Saturday of each month until April 2006.

Pet photos with Santa

Thanksgiving Turkey Trot

Hosted by Hagerstown Community College Track Team, Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 24, registration starts at 7:30 a.m. race begins at 9 a.m., HCC track. The five-kilometer race begins at the outdoor track, winds around campus and ends inside the ARCC. Registration is $15 before Monday, Nov. 21; then $20. Everyone who enters before race day receives a T-shirt. The event is open to all ages. Turkeys will be given to top male and female finishers overall and in each age group.
