Quincy Township crash injures 3

QUINCY, Pa. - A woman was flown to York (Pa.) Hospital after a two-car accident Saturday morning in the 8000 block of Old Forge Road in Quincy Township, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Nickole M. Varner, 18, of South Mountain, Pa., was flown to the hospital.

Donna M. Huff, 54, and Dale C. Huff, 69, both of Fayetteville, Pa., who were in the second vehicle, also were injured, police said.

Donna Huff was taken to Washington County Hospital by ambulance, and Dale Huff was taken by ambulance to Waynesboro (Pa.) Hospital, police said.

Varner was driving a 1988 Chevrolet Cavalier northbound on Old Forge Road at 10:19 a.m. when the car failed to negotiate a curve in the road and entered the southbound lane, where it collided with a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Donna Huff.

Both vehicles were severely damage, police said.

Police are investigating the accident.
