No. 1 Jefferson Cougars (9-0) at Waynesboro Indians (2-7)

Series: Jefferson leads, 1-0.

Last meeting: 2004 - Jefferson, 28-21.

Last week: The Cougars were idle last week. They defeated Hedgesville 45-22 on Oct. 21. ... The Indians defeated Scotland, 34-27.

Notes: The Cougars set a school record for wins in a season with their win over Hedgesville. Their 18 wins in the last two seasons also is a school record, as is their current 11-game regular-season winning streak. ... The Cougars will wrap up the No. 2 seed in the West Virginia Class AAA playoffs with a victory. ... Waynesboro RB Mike McKenzie ran for 154 yards on 39 carries and scored 3 more TDs against Scotland. ... Waynesboro stopped Scotland inside the 10-yard line near the end of the game.

Kiski School Cougars (1-7) at No. 3 Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm (8-1)

RB Ryan Hash ran for 224 yards and 5 TDs in the Cavaliers' victory over Walkersville. ... The Knights trailed FSK 7-6 after Kevin Linehan's TD pass to Parker Lumley in the first quarter, but FSK then rattled off 27 straight points. ... The Knights gained just 66 yards on 30 carries and were held to 159 total yards.

Linganore Lancers (7-1) at No. 5 Thomas Johnson Patriots (5-3)
