AAUW book sale scheduled for next weekend

The Hagerstown Branch of the American Association of University Women is holding its fourth annual fall used book sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, in the atrium of the E.J. Fennel Building, 324 E. Antietam St., Hagerstown.

The sale includes hundreds of paperback books in all categories on sale for 50 cents each. This year, there also will be a large number of hardbook books, including books on holiday crafts and holiday entertaining and Christmas books for children and adults. There will be a table of choice cookbooks; children's books, many illustrated; choice and current books in mint condition. None of the books are ex-library books.

Mary O'Brian and Billie Sue Boyer are co-chairwomen for the sale. Ginger Fennel is sale treasurer, and Hope Dalgleish is in charge of scheduling workers.

Proceeds from the sale will go toward AAUW's scholarship fund and art fund.
