St. John's Episcopal Church, Hagerstown, the Rev. Scott Bellows will deliver the sermon at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services this Sunday. The parish choir will present special music at the later service.

Christian education for all ages begins at 9 a.m.

Asbury United Methodist Church, Shepherdstown, W.Va., the Rev. Rudolph Bropleh will lead the 11 a.m. service this Sunday on the topic, Becoming Extraordinary People, Part 3.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, the Rev. Mark Mooney will be speaking at 9:30 a.m. service this Sunday on the topic, Bitter or Better.

Mooney and E-Man will also be featured at the service.

On Saturday, Oct. 29, there will be blessing of the animals in the church parking lot at 11 a.m.
