Upper Potomac Irish Music Weekend

A weekend of Irish music and dance. Today through Sunday. Events take place at Hilltop House Hotel, 400 E. Living History Day

The 1st Pa. Light Artillery, Battery E will camp at the library. Marching and drill instruction will be demonstrated. There will be a recruitment and bake sale table. Walk Through History

By candlelight, historical re-enactors will portray life as it was at Fort Frederick during the French and Indian War, the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, gates close at 9 p.m. Fort Frederick State Park, Big Pool. $2 to $4; free for ages 5 and younger. Proceeds benefit Friends of Fort Frederick State Park.

Barnyard jamboree
