WILLIAMSPORT - Life Skills classes and the French Club at Williamsport High School recently raised more than $2,000 for donation to the American Red Cross to help with relief efforts for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The students in Michele Subora's 4th Mod Life Skills class put together a Public Relations Committee, which created posters for the hallways, news for the morning announcements and scheduled a series of collections during lunch periods. The effort raised $1,500.
