St. John's Episcopal Church, Hagerstown, the Rev. Scott Bellows will be preaching at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services this Sunday. The parish choir will present special music at the later service. Christian education for all ages begins at 9 a.m. The youth group will be participating in the Hagers-town CROP Walk in the afternoon.




St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, the Rev. Mark Mooney will be speaking at 9:30 a.m. service this Children's Day Sunday on the topic, A Father's Concern. The pastor and the E-Man Puppet will give a children's story. Sunday School classes for children, youth and adults are at 10:45 a.m.




Christ Reformed UCC in Cavetown, Pastor Carol Hallman will speak at the 10:30 a.m. service this Sunday on the topic, Shaping Worries Into Prayers. Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m.

Tri-State Fellowship, 13153 Cearfoss Pike, Hagerstown, Pastor Randy Buchman will speak on the topic, The Hope of the Great Hereafter, at the 9:30 a.m. service this Sunday in the auditorium and video cafe. The sermon continues the six-part series God's Big Story. The children's program is also at 9:30 a.m.




Church of Christ in the Great Valley, C.R. Strunk, minister, will be speaking this Sunday at 10 a.m. on the topic, The Sermon on the Mount: Jesus on Adultery. Wednesday night services begin at 7. The congregation meets at the Woodmen of the World lodge on Reichard Road in Fairplay.
