Three sentenced on drug charges

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Three Berkeley County, W.Va., residents were sentenced Wednesday in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia by Chief Judge Irene M. Keeley.

- Tiesha Hafner, 20, of 420 E. Race St. in Martinsburg, was sentenced to 33 months imprisonment followed by three years supervised release, pursuant to a previous guilty plea, according to a statement issued by U.S. Attorney Thomas E. Johnston's office.

Hafner pleaded guilty on July 7 to one count of an indictment charging her with conspiracy to distribute in excess of 100 grams of heroin from January 2004 to May 28, 2004, in the Northern District of West Virginia, according to the statement.

Hafner is in federal custody.

- Dennis Kammerdiener, 28, of 654 Royal Crest Drive in Martinsburg, and Andrea Kammerdiener, 26, of 82 Sprite Court in Inwood, W.Va., each were sentenced to six months imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release, the first four months of which are to be spent in home detention with electronic monitoring, pursuant to earlier guilty pleas, according to the statement.

The defendants entered guilty pleas in July to one count of an indictment charging them with the distribution of one ounce of cocaine hydrochloride on Jan. 11, 2004, in Charles Town, W.Va., according to the statement.

The defendants will self-report to designated federal institutions, according to the statement.
