Graham-Gray third at Charleston Distance Run
CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Susan Graham-Gray, 37, of Greencastle, Pa., was the third overall female at the 33rd annual Charleston Distance Run.
Graham-Gray completed the 15-mile course in 1 hour, 33 minutes, 48 seconds. She won $1,000.
Ramilya Burangulova of Russia, the reigning Baltimore Marathon champ, took first in 1:30:52. Debbi Kilpatrick-Morris, the 1995 U.S. marathon champ, was second in 1:32:33.
Francis Bowen of Kenya was the men's winner in 1:15:31.
FitzGerald tops age group
GAITHERSBURG, Md. - Mike FitzGerald, 50, of Hagerstown, was the first 50-and-over finisher and 27th overall at the Kentlands-Lakelands 5K in 18:06.
Tammy Anderson, 32, of Hagerstown, was the 13th overall female in 19:58.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Laurel Bobo and Kristen Marshall each scored a pair of goals to lead Martinsburg to a shutout victory over Berkeley Springs.
Sara Orr added a goal and an assist, while Marshall and Ashley Ausherman each had an assist for the Bulldogs (2-3-1). Morgan Hunley and Carolyn Gore combined for the shutout in goal.
Goretti 6, St. James 0
Melanie Conner, Erin Haney, Erica DiMercurio, Carissa Grove, Justine Beachley and Logan Burke each scored for St. Maria Goretti (1-2). Conner added two assists and Grove had one. Goretti keeper Andrea Buckner made 10 saves, and St. James' Allie Marriott had seven saves.

Senators split pair
FREDERICK, Md. - The Hagerstown Senators split a pair of games in the Top Dog Challenge, losing to the Baltimore Blueclaws 12-3 before rebounding to beat Prince William (Va.) 9-3.
Ryan Willard and Jake Bachtell each had two hits in the first game and Willard drove in all three Senators runs. Aaron Stoner threw a four-hitter in the second game. Willard had three hits and Chris Kiley added two.
