Make TV better

September 02, 2005

Think you can do better than TV honchos who have created the upcoming fall TV season?

Think your drama is more suspenseful or your comedy wittier? Or do you just have something weirder than "Twin Peaks"?

We want to know. The Herald-Mail wants to hear ideas for a new television show that could hook viewers. Entries will be judged on originality and must leave a great impression on the judges.

The winner will receive $50.

Describe the show's premise in 100 words or less.

Entries must be received by 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9.

Mail your answers with your full name, address and daytime phone number to Lifestyle TV pilots contest, P.O. Box 439, Hagerstown, MD 21741, or bring your answers to 100 Summit Ave. in Hagers-town, or send your answers via e-mail to lifestyle@herald-mail.com.

Employees of The Herald-Mail and their immediate relatives are not eligible to participate.

A photograph of and interview with the winner will be published in an upcoming Sunday Lifestyle section.
