Suns rally for victory

James Burt's RBI double in the bottom fo the eighth inning scored the tying run, and Kyle Brown's two-run single in the eighth inning gave Hagerstown the lead as the Suns rallied from a 4-1 deficit with two runs in the seventh and three more in the eighth for a 6-5 victory over the Lakewood BlueClaws on Wednesday.

Matt Bacon doubled leading off the seventh and scored on Brown's groundout. Brown later scored on an error to cut the BlueClaws' lead to 4-3.

Burt and Josh Wyrick each had two hits for Hagerstown (25-37 South Atlantic League second half). Bacon scored twice and Brown stole two bases.

Suns starter Mike Devaney went six innings, allowing four runs while striking out six. Brandon Nall (1-2) earned the win with 1 1/3 hitless innings, fanning three. Marcelo Perez earned his 13th save.
