Dinner on the Diamond fundraiser
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Sponsored by Shepherd University and Outback Steakhouse, Wednesday, Aug. 24, 7 p.m., Fairfax Field at the university. Outback Steakhouse is donating and serving dinner; the foundation is providing dessert and soft drinks. The event will benefit the Shepherd University baseball team, members of which will be present to greet guests, park cars and wait tables. Thirty game jerseys bearing the Shepherd logo and player numbers will be sold. Tickets for dinner are $50, adults; $15, ages 6 to 12. The public is welcome.
