Men steal car at gunpoint

August 16, 2005

WALKERSVILLE, Md. - Two people stole a car from a man at gunpoint near Walkersville on Monday, Maryland State Police said.

Police said the driver reported that someone he knew named "Sity" stood in his way at the intersection of Stauffer Road and Seekers Walk in the Discovery subdivision, so he stopped his car.

A second person known as "3D" pulled out a black semiautomatic handgun and demanded money, police said.

The driver had no money, so the robbers took his 1987 Buick Century sedan.

The car is white with a Maryland license plate of 4AC-Z68.

The robbers were last seen making a U-turn and driving toward Md. 194, police said.

Police have asked anyone with information about the carjacking to call them at 301-644-4151.
