Reunions July 31

Williamsport High School's Class of 1955 celebrated its 50th Reunion on June 25 at the Red Horse Steak House. The Class of 1955 was, at the time, the school's largest graduating class ever at 63 students, and because of that was to be the first to have an outdoor commencement. However, the weather did not cooperate on June 5, 1955, and the graduation was held in the school's gym.

The 50th reunion program was emceed by class president Glenn Marshall and featured participation by classmates and teachers. High school reminiscences and classmate camaraderie were the hallmarks of the event, which was attended by 27 members of the class and their spouses and guests.
