Help on the way for city phone system

City Administrator Bruce Zimmerman said Tuesday that City Hall had a telephone problem Monday, making it more difficult to reach some city offices.

Zimmerman said the phone problems affected the first, second and third floors of City Hall, which house human resources offices, city cashiers, the mayor and city administrator's offices, and the engineering and permits offices.

Zimmerman said some people have been unable to get through on phone lines. The city is working with a contractor, and parts are expected to be delivered today.
