Wing fling

Local restaurants and caters will compete for the title of Best Chicken Wing. Music from the '80s and '90s by Crunch Mob. 6 to 10 p.m. today. Theater festival

Fort Frederick State Park will host re-enactors who will portray military, civilian, and American Indian inhabitants of Fort Frederick during the French and Indian War. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Music by the lake

27th Virginia Infantry

Life of the Confederate infantry soldier in general, how he lived, marched and fought, with the history of the 27th Virginia Volunteer Infantry Regiment as the specific example. Weapons and tactics demonstrations will be held at 11 a.m., 2 and 4 p.m Saturday, and 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday, with ongoing interpretation in the camp throughout the day.
